I think there are different springs depending on whether or not you have a spoiler. Spoiler=Heavier Trunk Lid=Stronger Springs. Without the spoiler, your current springs may open the trunk really really fast. But I don't know if that's something that would have come with the new trunk...
More than likely not. If he's talking about just unbolting from the top of the hinges. The springs are up under the rear deck. Undoing them usually involves the tool(s) I mentioned earlier.

You think so? I'm not so sure if they are 6.0 or 6.5 width, b/c most of the online retailers say 6.5 but Majestic Honda says 6.0)
I just digged down my garage, and it was engraved as 6 1/2 55. Duh. Why didn't I think about this... Thanks for clearing out my concern :)
You dare question me?!?

:lawl:

It's all good. Lol.

Found out I didn't need the freak hub I ordered today. Ugh...

It was my tire causing the drone at 65mph. Put my stocks back on and it drives sooooo smooth. Took it on the highway. No drone at any speed. Gonna get two new tires for the 17s. But after I get an alignment and my rear toe kit.

Productive day.

Got my muffler to sit a little higher, removed the amber piece of the taillight thanks to Tyler's DIY.

No holes anywhere. It will get one badge, but nothing that came on it. Probably on the left side.

I won't have time til the weekend to install it. Saturday is blocked out for trunk time. :)

@CB, so.....how did it go with the trunk? In for pics.

Well....I unwrapped it and test fit the center tail. Went out with a college buddy last night, tonight I had to do some yard work, tomorrow taking the wife out to dinner. Saturday this thing is going on.

Congrats on the tails btw.

You rethreaded the lever I assume.

Don't you mean light green? At least that's what mine were. Or did you remove the blue film?
