@Dillingham: Ah didn't know that. Well...guess I'll find out if my trunk opens the first time like a jack-in-the-box

@Mike: Gonna go back to using the center tail I think. I miss having reverse lights and I don't want to relo them.

You didn't know that??? YOU DIDNT KNOW THAT?!? :aznrun:

Yeah, due to the added weight of the spoiler, the springs are adjusted/positioned so that the lid pop up at just the right height. It's a problem people run into when swapping to a wingless lid or adding a spoiler.

Don't quote me, but i'm willing to bet it'll pop open a little more harder than you'd feel comfortable with.

I'll make sure I stand back the first time I open it so I don't knock myself out. :lawl:

It is fixable though. I wouldn't recommend doing it by hand though. Look around. There are tools you can buy/use/borrow to compress the springs and adjust them.

I was also curious about what the offset of stock EX 16's. Does this apply to all of the EX 16's? (Wanted to know for 01-02 year. -twin spoke-)
0102 EX V6 coupe wheels are 16x6.5 +55.
You think so? I'm not so sure if they are 6.0 or 6.5 width, b/c most of the online retailers say 6.5 but Majestic Honda says 6.0)

I'm also pretty sure they're 16x6.5 +55. Thats what my 98 v6 wheels are .. If in doubt, you can always have a look behind the rim. It will be stamped there :)

I just digged down my garage, and it was engraved as 6 1/2 55. Duh. Why didn't I think about this... Thanks for clearing out my concern :)
