Pulled the dash, crash bar, harness, and heaterbox out. Only thing still attatched is the firewall insulation.

^- You can punch it out, it's basically just a wheel stud.

^+1. Dash seems like the worst part about an interior swap. Always wondered how it all goes together.

Progress.

Haha...well...

If you have the time - pull/disconnect every part of the wiring harness that you can. Pull the column or drop it all the way down w/ the wheel removed and take EVERYTHING out, glovebox, radio, cluster, etc. There's probably 20bolts or so (maybe less) that actually hold it in as well as a bracket at the very back that's held on with phillips head screw. - I had a friend helping me, which helps w/ trying to support it and get in tight places to some of the bolts.

Now, given that the car was already stripped and generally being sold in parts, I didn't do any of that, if I didnt need it, I just cut it.

The crash bar is only held on with ~6 bolts then just pull it down/out once you have the harness disconnected from it.

I took a couple (sh!itty) pics with my phone if you guys wanna see.

@Chris Looking good! If you don't mind me asking, what are you going to do with your original trunk? As a spare?

Took some pics for completing my DIY exterior thread + inspecting the A-pillar after my this DIY performed 3monts a go.
