3k lows?

Why???

well i needed new ballasts, so i found a complete 3k kit for 29 shipped, rather than 60 for a 5k or 4300k kit. idk why the 3k h1 kit was the only kit on the website for 29.99 lol so i got that and just tried them out. free bulbs basically since i already had the 5ks that got me pulled over...

sooo i emailed the company and im exchanging the 3ks for white 4300k bulbs.

Dern va sucks. How you get pulled for 5oook? They're like....not even blue. They better be pulling all the new cars with these HID kits.

^ I think he got pulled overe by 3000K low's. (Didn't you mean that, Darius?)

I've seen many cars get pulled over by having their low beams yellow like fog lights.

@ Darius, I'm very curious to see how your 4300K will look like, because I hear that 4300's are SUPPOSEDLY the purest in white, meaning "without any hint of blue". If that's the case, that'll be the Kelvin I'll be looking for.

Yeah he got pulled over for running 3000k lows. I currently have 6000k and they have a very small hint of blue, but I plan to go with 4300k next as they look closer to most other oem projector headlights on most cars these days.
I've yet to be flashed at or had the finger pointed at me for having my yellow drl in my highbeam bucket .. And i've been too lazy to solder a resistor inline to hopefully reduce the output.. :hide:

I realized that ppl having yellow DRLs don't seem to get pulled over so often. When ppl have yellow low beams turned on with yellow fogs at the same time, that's when they most likely to get pulled over.

No no, lol I got pulled over with the 5k. The night before I tested the 3k out passed 3 cops and didn't get pulled lol. Luckily I didn't get a ticket.

The 5k bulbs are weird. If you've ever seen a older e class Mercedes with the factory whitish greenish factory hid, that's exactly what they look like.

Hopefully the bulbs they send next will be WHITE of not ill be forking out 70 on the new morimoto xb bulbs
