Hey, I need new tires on my 17x9+35. I did research all morning and concluded to get 215/40 or 215/45, lowered on ff type1's. I like the stretch look but I don't want a 40 series to unbead while driving or damage the wheels. Any suggestions? Oh it is daily driven as well

I'm running 225/40 on a 18x9+35 wheel. If you are low enough a simple roll on the rear would be plenty to make 225/45 fit. I didn't even roll the front fenders. But you can run 215 if you want to be safe. But definitely go 45 so it doesn't mess with your speedo.

Pics and rim/tire dimensions would help in answering your question. Spacers are going to push the wheels out closer to your fenders ... where exactly are you rubbing ???

PS. I'd like to see this 4-5 inch drop ...
