Yeah I think it won’t look great because the point of stretching a tire is because you want to tuck it, and you would need to go lower in order to accomplish that. Stretching and poking is really for stance and slamming the car. And the stock wheels have a slightly larger overall diameter than any plus size wheel setup, so any gap you have now will increase a little bit, and if you’re not tucking and you have a stretched tire it won’t look very good imo.

Fyi I am running Sportlines and have my front Yellows on the bottom perch, and the rears on the top perch, and I have about 1 fingergap at front and rear.

I have the exact same setup. I don't have any gap though? I'm using spc camber kits all around so could that be the difference? Or is it because you have a v6?

Could be. I also spaced my subframe for my swap, so that added a little gap up front.

Fairoze, any ofset in the +20 range will clear. It's when you start getting in to the +30's that you might start having issues. I think most 18's/19's will clear just fine.

Also, for an 8.5" wide rim, 215 will give you a bit of stretch(depending on the brand of tire), but 225 is going to fit normally.

IIRC, Vimal's current rims are in the low +20 range.

that actually wouldnt give you any stretch I got just a mild stretch on 9.5 with 215. 225s would look normal on a 9.5 to me

Going to lower car another inch or more as soon as my gc coils come in(currently on tein springs-koni yellows),and was wondering if my current tire/ wheel setup will make my tires look beefy/chunky etc.....

All 4 wheels are 18x8 + 35 with 225/40/18.

Should I buy new tires or just buy fronts or rears??

I'm planning on do the spacers option eventually also:icon_toilet:

GC wont slam you, so you'll be fine. you might wanna roll your fenders and relocate your rear bumper tab though.

yOu might wanna roll for future wheel plans and do the tab doesnt hurt to do so. You might hear some rubbing if the ride isnt stiff
