Hey im not sure if this is in the right section but i have a question i just found out my hub is bent i had a noise issue for a long time now i went to changing after marker rotors and pads to OEM Honda rotors and pads Hardware kit, ball joints, upper control arm and also links.. thinking it had something to do with it in the bottum is a video of the noise it makes soo the guy said the hub is bent ( i also saw the Hub is self slightly wobble) And it causes the brakes pads to move SIDE to SIDE more then it suppose to so the noise u hear is the rubbing on the pads against the sheems )(hardwarekit),but im not sure if i should buy the hub bearing as well with it or just get the HUB alone. i figure the hub is whats bad why mess with the bearing but im there already so im not sure what to do thanks guys

Nose only happends when applying on the brakes GENTLY

Hey, First of all how did you "Bend" the Hub. I've never seen one bend, usually just where out and make noise/ become loose. To check the hub bearing jack up the vehicle and support is on stands for obvious reasons. Im guessing its the right front that your concerned with, so kneel down by that wheel and grab the wheel at the 3:00 & 9:00 positions, then wobble it back and forth (in the direction that the wheels turn) and feel for looseness. If looseness is felt, Make sure its not a tie rod or ball joint causing the excess play. (Watching these joint while wobbling the wheel). After checking for wobble (horizontally), now grab the wheel at the 12 & 6 O'clock positions and check for Verticle play, wobbling the wheel up and down checking for losseness. Again makeing sure balljoints are not loose, (worn tie rods will not be noticable when checking verticle play.) If in fact the bearing is bad, Replace whole hub asembly (Hub w/ bearing) as the bearing is pressed in and most of us do not have the tools to do such a job. I would also consider new mounting bolts as the old ones are usually rusted and trashed upon removal. Hopefully this helps. As far as the hub being bent (Any photos of this would be amazing), The hub is well tucked away beind the wheel and the wheel would have been heavily damaged before beding a hub IMO. Very curious on this one.

On to the noise. Im also guessing you where bouncing the vehicle on the ground to create this noise. Sounds like a worn Strut or control arm bushing thats making noise. Spray suspected Bushing with P.B blaster and let it soak in a little. test drive and check for changes. I'd start one at a time so you narrow down which one made the noise. As far as checking the strut, i would say a stethoscope held against the tube should give it away. Good luck to you.

It would be easier to put the front of the car on jackstands and have someone "drive" the car up to 20mph while you listen.

Hitting a curb usually will brinnell the bearing roller and/or race causing it to be loosely fitting. You can buy the the hub+bearing and slide it onto the spindle for the rear, but the front wheel bearing needs to be pressed into the knuckle. You could try renting a Hub-Shark if you really want to DIY. You NEED to replace the bearing, it's junk after an impact like that.

If the hub is bent you need to replace the bearing as well. If you hit something hard enough to bend the hub, you brinelled the bearing too.
