Not really sure if I'm even going to put one on at all, just a lot of wishful thinking, really. They don't help at all and they're really just for looks.

Then I'd suggest you go with a deck-spoiler FIRST. These kind of aftermarket spoilers are inexpensive, and they don't require you to drill holes on your trunk; they're mounted by all-weather tapes. Trunk deck type is becoming a trend since around 2005 (i.e. 3Gen Acura TL's. European cars, and most of the new sedans & coupes in auto industry.)

Keep in mind that once you get those Type-R or OEM, and IF you decide to move on to a deck-spoiler or back to be a spoiler-less in future, you'll need some extra amount of work ($ as well) to revive your trunk--fixing your drilled trunk.

More or less it's your car, and you can certainly obey your instict right away.

But If you're looking out for other's opinion on this case, I would reeeally envision how it looks, when it comes to a decision making on this one. It is because spoilers (along with bumper kits, headlights, and wheels) these 4 things are the major ones that change the look of your car drastically.

Good luck!

OEM or flushmount.....really the best options to consider.

No reason to get a big aftermarket spoiler for our cars, it serves no purpose.

Oh, there is one specifically for 01-02 (but not for 98-00). I'd want that!

The trunk lip is flexible so will flex to fit any car with the 3M adhesive.. i really doubt theres any specific application for these lip spoilers .

Come to think of it, that could be the one that says "M3 Style", or something like that.

Anyways back to his subject, I'd say deck-lid ftw but the only problem is that it gets easily stolen... I remember someone saying it got stolen in less than 1hr or something like that.

This guy has one.

There's another silver coupe that has one, but I forget the name.

Holy project car, Batman. That car is beautiful, but the amount of money he dropped into it must have been incredible too, considering that hood is somewhere around $550, $400 body kit, $150 spoiler. Not to mention the new paint job, and that's just exterior. Makes my brain hurt thinking people do that much to accords, but i like it.
