White crab spider w/ pink stripes

Was doing some yard work and came across this pretty cool looking spider decided to take a few shots. All done with the 55-250 IS in the 200-250mm range. I hate spiders so distance was a must.

I thought the same thing too but when I searched online to find out what kind it was, I see picture of people holding them in their hands

its a defense mechanism for certain spiders, usually the small ones, to change colors to mimic their surroundings so says my girlfriend

But i have a serious phobia of spiders, i literally jumped on my friends lap when i rolled down the window in his car and a spider rolled down with it.
