Why did you choose

Why did you choose YOUR 6th gen Accord? Hell, why did you choose a 6th gen in the first place?

Well I didn't really choose mine, my parents bought it for me. But they chose the MY 6th gen for a couple reasons. Originally I wanted an Eclipse Turbo, but they test drove an eclipse and said it sucked ***. Well they had looked ALL day long and they were about to leave when they saw "my" accord. Well they took it for a drive and LOVED it. Well my dad saw another car in the same lot, a 2001 Toyota Solara (or w/e its called), and test drove that. He liked it a lot, but they got a better deal on the Accord (talked them down 3K). I'm pretty damn glad they chose this car!

was reliable for my rents

and.....all honestly, it had vtec, lol

i got my car as a hand-me-down from the parental units, i needed a reliable and safe car to drive up to Idaho for school and my civic had seen much better days so they got a new car and gave me theirs

My old car, the 98 Dodge Intrepid was on its way out, had engine knocking, so i cruised up to the nearest dealership, checked out the used cars, and my decision was either between my Accord or a 98 Camry. The Accord was just more sexy looking, and plus my accord had the rims, as to the camry only had steel wheels with the hubcaps. Also, and I'm with Badger on this one, the Accord had vtec

when i pulled up to the lot, i saw the accord sitting there SLAMMED. was ridiculously nice so i got it yo! oh and i was like V6 VTEC!!!! :bash:

my first one, was just luck of the draw really. i had wanted a civic, but my mom said they were too small and wouldnt let me get one....this was also back in august 04.....right before the start of my senior year in high school.

here it is stock

and one of the last pics i had of it

it was a dep 98 lx auto 4cyl

this second one, i had my local dealer keep an eye out for me, and then i got it in april 08

and now how it is today

current one is a dep 99 lx 5spd

my dad got hit really bad on his 91 integra... went into a 10 ft ditch... then we look for cars... first got a tan 99 accord lx 4dr which I hate (sry if you love them, i just don't like the color) then 2 days later i found the 01 v6 (V6 baby, didn't know bout the trans problem yet...) and called my dad i want this baby... (my dream car when i was 14)

paid $4800 with 179xxx mi LOL... high...
