Because if you're fortunate to have one at 100k miles, you know it will be around with whatever mods you've done for another 200k at least if you take care of it.

Sole reason? I absolutely canNOT stand to drive a car that looks exactly the same as someone else's. I want my car to be my own, and not just another generic make/model/year on the road.

I love the way 6thgen coupes look. There is no other car out there that I think looks better. There is one that is equal, but it will be my next car anyway so it doesn't count. I mod it to make up for the small compromises it has.

I would recommend you swap the transmission, it will double the fun. Ask anyone here.

^^This...

Plus.. it's not a hobby for me. It's a way of life :lawl:

and.....

Why the hell not. Well a 4cyl Auto - I get keeping it stock besides suspension/audio/exterior.

But the v6 is quite fun especially with the 6 speed :naughty:

I do need to do something with my suspension. Coilovers for sure. But I just don't know if I want to jump in head first and spend a few grand, or sell her in a year. Anybody else in that boat?

i mod my car because i want it to be mine. i don't want others to say "hey that's exactly like my car." even the little things make you proud of it like black housing headlights and red/clear tail lights. i even put in a an INJEN cold air intake to make it sound better at higher rpms and a little tiny bit better acceleration. but all that may not be appealing to all. it's mostly for yourself. which is why you should do whatever you want to your car if it's your car.

and to tell you the truth i am going to convert over to the dark side. getting a WRB WRX soon. i will still and always love my accord but you can't lie...a WRX is just a fun daily driver. and to be honest i will probably drive by a 6th gen and laugh at how slow it is even though i have the j30. but i will always love the accord like i said before.
