My windshield has a small crack about the size of a quarter and I would like to know if anybody knows of any good windshield repair shops in SoCal. Specifically somewhere in the City of Industry, La Puente, Covina, Walnut areas or even the Inland Empire.

What kind of pricing should I expect? I called one place up earlier today (yesterday technically) and they said it would be $45 to fix. Is that about right?

That's sounds like a fair price. Do they offer warranties on there repairs or anything of that "guaranteeing" nature?

$45 sounds pretty good...my company uses windshield companies to replace windshields, not necessarily repair. if you want, i can get you a number to the one we use. they're mobile so they'll come out to you.

work in pasadena btw

the size of a quater? :eh:

tht's not small haha... the pros should be able to determine if it's fixable.. if not, u gotta replace the whole windshield... i think i paid $100 for a new one for the corolla a few years back

I hope I can get it fixed instead of replacing it. If it has to be replaced, this would be the second windshield for my car since I've had it.

But you guys think $45 is a good price?

So by "fixing" does that mean preventing the crack from spreading or can they actually make the crack disappear completely? I ask because I've always just replaced the glass completely.

It's my understanding that they'll make the crack go away entirely. The crack can't be more than like 3in. big from the origination point or else the windshield does have to be replaced.
