Wiring Fogs into parking lights

Well im about to get some 01-03 civic fogs and put HIDs in them but didnt want to go through the hassle of modding the stock fog light switch to the civic foglight wiring. My idea was to just wire the fog light wiring to the small parking lights. So my fog lights turn on with my parking lights instead.

Im putting HIDs in these with a relay harness, so is there any need for the 2 relays (one on the civic wiring harness and one on the HID relay harness)? I dont wanna blow any fuses or create any crazy electrical problems. Since I will be using a relay harness, the parking light will just provide signal to turn the relay on to get power from the battery just like the headlights, right?

Also, I couldnt find a solid answer for this.... What is the bulb size for the civic fogs? H11 or H3?

i want my fogs wired to my parking lights as well. i dont have hid bulbs in my fogs though. but a diagram of how to properly wire the fogs to the parking lights would be killer.

on my fog lights i had two positives.. one was the main positive and the other one was a remote..

idk the names for them but the remote positive is just hooked up to my corner light. So if my corner lights aren't on then my fog lights don't turn on, but my fog lights turn on without my headlights (if my switch is set to on) aka with parking lights

yeah i know what you're talking about.. it's sort of similar to hooking up an amp in a car.

The remote wire is just a wire to send a signal to be on or off. And the power wire either hooks up to a 12v source in the car or the battery. But I think with me wiring HIDs in, it might be a little different.. Might be the same though..

I spliced my fogs into my headlights and just grounded one wire. And the answer to the other is h11

Did you use the relay on the harness that came with the fogs? Thats if you have either civic fogs or oems

yeah just the one from the civic fogs, and it should be the same with HIDS, i have hids on mine

OK cool, sounds simple enough.. I installed fogs on my 02 Sedan before, but used the gay civic fog switch.. But im switching to a 98-00 sedan front now.

Thanks for all the help guys! Anymore input would be great
