378hp/351tq that was enough for me in my 4th gen and with no interiour ,slicks and tuned to the tee. she ran 12.6 and then i had to sell for scholl money.. ...damn..

and i had 11k in the whole bulid. so $25k ford's can suck it.

Got any pics of your former beast?

OK then. You dumped all that into your accord, and had to gut out the interior and run slicks to get a mid 12sec run when the Cobra runs faster than that stock on street tires.
If you want to talk modding for that car...Lets see now.
A KB Supercharger, I/H/E, Pulleys, and a reprogrammed ECU can get you over 500HP and a low (very low) 11sec run on BFG's drag radials. All for about half of what you put in your Accord.
Don't get me wrong now, That was some serious work you did and very impressive, but you must admit, the Cobra is simple badass. Especially for the power it offers and the available mods.
I'm not hating on Hondas, cause I absolutely love my Honda, but I'll give credit where credit is due.

**EDIT**
Here's a vid of a Cobra with an Exhaust, Pulley, & chip on BFG's drags
And here's a Cobra with only an upper pulley, stock supercharger(Eaton) and slicks
Clicky

[rant]I love the power, but I will never in my life buy a ford. I will never in my life buy a GM. and you can quote me on that. every ford that family or friends have had, and every GM that friends of family have had has been horrible. In MY experience they are the worst investment. I would love to have 390hp, but I would much rather get it in an engine that I have faith in. I assume those engines are strong because they are meant to be abused, but it's still a ford. [/rant]

yea, in the 6th month span i had my first car (91 lincoln continental) it broke so much, first the driveshafts were wrong, then the power steering went, and then the lights behind the dash. i got rid of that and got the accord :-D

Blacknight.... you ever been in one? My buddy has one and that sh*t is ridiculously fast! I'm with you.... if it wasn't for the gas (and my two kids) I'd buy one too. That's a lot of bang for your buck ($25K) and with a few mods you'd have more power than you would ever need.....
