Might actually be cheaper to buy a new or used rim, rather than having it re-machined, polished & clear coated.

throw up some pics of your wheel and ill tell you if its a DIY fixable


my rims got beaten up by one curb (just scratches) and road debris I fixed them up with some sand paper and polishing. They look better than new IMO

Post up some pics, so we can evaluate the damage, as much as it hurts to do so.

I think the reason most people don't curb their stock wheels is because the tires aren't low profile, and you rub the tire before you hit the rim. Low-pros are different. Nonetheless blows dude.

that sucks man....i haven't curbed a wheel yet either...i don't parallel park at all tho....in TN there isn't a need to...and i always stay far back from curbs at drivethrus....i'd rather have to reach than to scratch a wheel...or a lip....cause my Mugen lip would hit before my wheel would on the front...

I actually curbed the side of my car once.... on the passenger rear door :doh:
