yes thats it. just make sure your car is an EX because i know LX and EX have different frequency's for their remotes

Looking at that remote, it seems to have a lot of buttons. Any possible way to program one of them to a remote start? Does it still retain all of the same functions ie lock, unlock, trunk, panic button (don't care too much about that one)?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a lot of buttons, it has the right amount lol

There was a guy at Southland Mall making these things for any car... didn't work even with a remote start setup.

wow.. we have a southland mall in miami too... completely off topic but continue..
BTW my cuzin tried it.... WONT WORK...

lock, unlock and trunk works
no panic though
and the location of the buttons is exactly the same as your oem remote
they basicaly put the oem remote circuit board onto the new remote

So if there's no panic, what's the bottom button for? If that could be reprogrammed for a remote start that would be perfect.

Also, the price for the cutting/programming at the dealer? Won't this need to have a transponder in it to start the engine?
