Re: Sil2DrV6's 2002 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 (56K)

I found out yesterday that a wheel bearing stud on my right rear wheel broke off. I remember hearing the sound of a golf-ball-like-object was bouncing somewhere under my chassis all on a sudden, when I was on a freeway, so that had to be it. It must have bounced inside the tire housing / fender on a high speed.

My 11-year-old stock rear rotors has already served its' last resurfacing, and they're finally becoming warped, giving me a noticeable vibration, so this could be the main cause.

Since I have no big complaints for having Power Slot rotors for my front brakes for about an year, I placed an order of another set for my rear brakes, along with the StopTech pads.

I didn't know that "Power Slot" changed its name to "StopTech" since Feb. of this year.

Just hit 130K today..

Purchased a wheel bearing stud, and received StopTech rear brake rotors & pads. Tirerack was very kind enough to supply me 3 lug nuts for free of charge, although I only needed 1 piece. :)

Changed OP's format a little bit.

Just realized my car is posted on 6GA Facebook. Shame on me that I don't do FB, but thanks to 6GA.

EDIT: Cleansed & simplified OP.

New Stoptech rear rotors & Stoptech Street Performance pads, along with replaced stud & lug nut. One less thing to worry. :coffee: But.. boy, they get dusty so quick!

Nice car, love your wheels :) Love the US rear bumper too, if I could Fit my French Licences plates, I would trade it. The white one, OEM looking is great too.

Never fails, other markets always want to trade with the N/A market and vice versa!

Not always, I would never trade my Civic for the american one. Ours is so much better (for once)

But the Problem of our rear bumper ist the added licence holder that does not Age well, bending in the middle and leaving a gap with the bumper. The only Thing good is that the sides are shaved.
