Who'd be interested in a Switchblade key made for the 6gens?

Thanx for the effort anyway KnightRyder. Who knows, this might have inspired others to try it out on their own and maybe one of us will be successful.

guys, im trying as hard as i can to convince him this is a worthy investment because we are not the only ones who use this style remote. take a look at this ebay store and you can see that cars ranging from integras, preludes, civics, s2000s all use the same general layout and key fob, its just that some of those cars are missing a button and that problem can be fixed with a simple little plastic plug to fill the unused hole for those cars.... http://stores.ebay.com/VEHICLE-REMO...uzu_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ9QQftidZ2QQtZkm

i honestly dont have any other argument, we'll see if he goes for it but i doubt it.

You do realize 7th gen guys were/are making these out of Acura setups right? It could be applied to the 6th gen as well. I think I seen it on gen7accord, I emailed the guy and he said it COULD be done. I think he was selling them for like $75 and I know some of them had the whole key fob built in.

I'm also more than sure this can be done on a smaller scale that some mass production like this guy is wanting to do. Some reason I doubt he's trying to break even, he's just doing what any business man would, maximizing profit. If someone on here has the ability or know how to make molds either from a CNC machine or however, we could even make them in carbon fiber. Simple little mold, carbon fiber materials, vacuum bags & an oven. Make it a DIY kit to save money. Made to order, you get the casing & parts but it's up to you to do the chip & key fob part. 6thgen exclusive ftw.
