Ahhhhh now I see, as I suspect it might just be a ploy to get you to buy more ****, they say that extending the white wires will cause a volatge drop and cause the tubes to flicker.

Could very well be true.... i honestly never tried it....so im not sure if it will affect them or not

Well, if it is a ploy, it worked. I bought another transformer last night.

I could try it out since i have a few extra sets sitting around...... but it'll have to wait until after i get back from out of town on the 20th

It requires thousands of volts to light up a CCFL tube. Extending the wires after the transformer could cause a voltage drop. If you cut those wires it may never work the same.

Oh yea it was a ploy indeed.... lol.... brought my $hit into work with me since they aren't in my headlights anymore... they go back in tomorrow... anyways I ended up opening one of the transformers up so I could solder the + and - wires instead of having that ghey connector which mine kept falling out of... anyways.. got those soldered in place and since I was getting bored I cut the "white wires"
and added in about a foot and a half of wire to it... since I could not find our heatshrink I just twisted the wires together and secured them with butt connectors temporarily so I could see if they would even work or not.... went outside and hooked that bitch up to the battery and what do I have....a brightass light....ZOMG!!! 
so when I come into work tomorrow I am going to finish both lights up with soldered wires covered with some heatshrink... and seal up the transformer with some silicone around the openings to keep out moisture.........buuuut if you wanna buy 2 transformers anyways knock yourself out... just saves you from having to "mod" them... lol
