lol really? that's just a basic "how are you?". "Ni hao ma?" But I guess that's ok lol I can speak and understand Urdu fluently but can't read it either.

It's not so bad. Rosetta Stone's are supposed to be really good.

Its really good, if you learn the arabic alphabet you will be able to read farsi,pashto and urdu. Pashto and urdu use a little bit different letters. Pashto and farsi are spoken veryy closly the same. The writing is a little diferent. Urdu and Hindi you can understand them both.
