hey i noticed you live in cali and not to rain on your parade, but that is gonna be a ***** to pass inspection. Im not 100% but i think you can only do engine swaps (legally) with an engine that was alternatively offered for your model and series... but like i said not 100% sure.

IMO if your worried about passing inspection than you have no business modifying your car's motor :jae:

j37 swap would be nice and cool. but you must consider how much CASH you have to put in to this thing. if you have this professionally done, with parts that are missing, parts that must be custom fabricated, and labor. you'll be spending THOUSANDS just to make it work. sell the motor and tranny. buy yourself a supercharger. you'll be way more happy.
