would be concerned about what else is damaged in the engine bay by the looks of that fender.

Hopefully nothing with the shock tower and other suspension parts as well.

damn that sucks. another 6ga?

Possibly.. I really loved my car, slow and all...

Thinking of either another 6ga, or maybe an Acura 3.2 TL

Not sure, I guess I'll be shopping around, see if anything catches my eye.. I love the new Accord coupes, but too much $$ for me right now.

Whoa how fast were you going. I would have thought you could see that coming with headlights on and at least slow down before you reached it somewhat.

I was going 45 mph.. honestly I didn't even see it coming with my headlights on and all.. I didn't even have time to brake.. by the time I realized what was happening I was airborne. The sign is very vague and hard to see at night and too close to where the road actually ends.. on top of that the fact that there was no stop signs or blinking caution lights (like those you see during road construction).. There were several car pieces and bumpers at the crash site, which means I'm not the only unfortunate soul to take the plunge.

I've just had bad luck with the car.. I'm just glad I came out OK in both crashes, and that nobody else was involved or in my car both times.

I wouldn't have recognized that sign either, I've never seen it before. I would have began slowing down though when I saw something unfamiliar, just as principle (by default) way in advance. Your head must have been elsewhere besides on your shoulders with work or something, or other personal thoughs. Glad you came out ok and sorry for your loss, that is tragic.

is your insurance company involved?

Yes, I'm not hiding anything. I told them what happened. They gave me a check for the total loss. Funny thing is my insurance agent's office is a couple minutes away from where I crashed. So, they knew exactly which road I was speaking of. They were very understanding with me, which is a rare thing. lol

Yea, it was definitely a long week, a couple of college exams and helping coordinate a work-related event. I was pretty relieved to have finished it all. I guess that might've affected my reaction time. I honestly just wanted to get home and relax.
