well i put 2 on each bolt, so a total of 4 universal washer from kraigan
nd i think honda made a spacer through the firewall nd not actually used washers
Correct, you guys should have known something was not right when you finished your swap. Going through 2 clutches before you realized its slipping is kind of funny, when I finished my swap, I could tell it was slipping right out of the driveway.
but i'm gonna get that done asap.... i'm trying to read the diagram of where the washers goThread jack...in 3...2..1...
Did anyone wire up the sensors on the clutch pedal during their 5spd swap?
the washer go between the firewall and the clutch pedal.
wat you have to do is take the clutch pedal completely off(only two nuts holding it in), then just slip the the washer and put the clutch pedal back in. nd ur set.
and i blew my clutch because 1) it was a cheap brand 2) i was barely learning how to drive stick 3) and the washer were not in place.
how do u have the money to keep buying clutches plus the labor involved.
its like doing the 5spd swap all over again
i coulda been boosted by next week but this has set me back....for some reason my shifter knob moves up and down but not side to side
i suspect either a popped linkage or blown clutch but i'll install the washers when we drop the trannyThread jack...in 3...2..1...
