Correct, you guys should have known something was not right when you finished your swap. Going through 2 clutches before you realized its slipping is kind of funny, when I finished my swap, I could tell it was slipping right out of the driveway.

yuh the first time it blew, i suspected maybe i had been had....because i was given the clutch by a friend who works at honda....the second time around i felt the pedal would stiffen when i drive for a while but when the car sit it was soft...so i've been searching through every forum i can to see...and this was the only thread i found that seem to be close to my scenario so i'm assuming this guy didn't put washers :coffee: but i'm gonna get that done asap.... i'm trying to read the diagram of where the washers go

the washer go between the firewall and the clutch pedal.
wat you have to do is take the clutch pedal completely off(only two nuts holding it in), then just slip the the washer and put the clutch pedal back in. nd ur set.
and i blew my clutch because 1) it was a cheap brand 2) i was barely learning how to drive stick 3) and the washer were not in place.
how do u have the money to keep buying clutches plus the labor involved.
its like doing the 5spd swap all over again

Did anyone wire up the sensors on the clutch pedal during their 5spd swap?

lol i live in miami,Fl and i have alot of connects in the performance parts here because i have alot of ppl in high places as friends so i get discounts that are crazy...as for labour my homeboy does all of my labour cuz he does that on that side....all he asks for is a 6 pack and 100 bucks and to help him(i.e, lift up the tranny into the engine bay, etc.):boink: i coulda been boosted by next week but this has set me back....for some reason my shifter knob moves up and down but not side to side :wtf1: i suspect either a popped linkage or blown clutch but i'll install the washers when we drop the tranny
