Thats where the clutch line goes into the master cyl. You need the clutch line and a new o-ring for it. It just pushes in.

Would an alternate method be to run a tap in it, to create the threads needed? I have the O ("X") ring BTW

If it needed to be tapped, it would've came that way.

The camera isn't actually taking that bad a picture...... it's problem is that it's focussing on whats behind the master cylinder.
Is that a clear plastic plug above what I can only guess is a bolt??
It looks nothing like my clutch master cylinder so I can't be much more help - otherwise I would take a pic of my setup as a reference.

**edit** where does the reservoir feed the fluid into the master cylinder?? Now that you have BlkCurrantKord on board he may be able to shed some light on it??

That is the pipe for the reservoir hose and there is a metal plate on top of it holding it down with a bolt. I was hoping there would be threads in this thing so that I could run a steel braided line from the CMC to the CSC so that I could avoid an additional 80 dollars and have a line that would be easy to bleed. Damn.

you bleed the fluid via the bleed screw on the side of the CSC from memory.
weird how the USDM CMC has a press in fitting, my car has a screw in fitting that points the hard line back towards the firewall, the reservoir has a soft line thats clamped to a hose barb on the top of the CMC.

A potential solution, thoughts or opinions please. If I return the Accord master cylinder and replace it with one from a prelude or a gen 5 accord using the line from that vehicle would it work? Reason for this is majestic has two different "lines" for our cars one is 80 dollars and the other is 122. And that seems a bit outrageous to me.

Ours #9

5th gen #13

Lude #10

The slave cyl doesn't mount the same in those two. So you'll have to come up with a way to mount it so that it still operates correctly. Or..quit trying to reinvent the wheel and just use the oem parts.

Resevoir feeds fluid via a rubber hose to the slave master cyl, the line pushes into the master cyl, runs behind the engine and then over the trans and around to the slave cyl where it again, pushes into the slave cyl. Nothing threads into anything else. If you took the fittings off either end of the clutch line you'd see regular threaded fittings just like a brake line. Just buy the oem, bolt it up, bleed it, and be done and not have to worry about trying to make other parts fit.

As cool as braided lines and an fittings would look, you'd just be wasting time/money finding the right ones, measuring, cutting, fitting to make it fit/work. You'll probably spend more than what the oem one goes for too.

Okay I understand that, but now my situation is that there are two lines listed for a 6ga. I do not know which is which. I also do not have this piece that fits inside of the master cylinder that comes out and then has threads on the end. I assume it is included in the line kit, but since I am buying online I can't see it.
