Took these while on a trail I'd never been on before by the river in a section that follows an old towpath from the 1830's. Lighting was pretty difficult since it had rained all day and was very overcast and nearing dusk.
17 foot lock. Largest/deepest out of 42 in the area.
This reminded me of Stephen Kings "It"
Some small rapids on the river.
We obviously have beavers in the area...

Red Tailed Hawk that I followed for probably 20min trying to get a picture of it in flight.
