Hey all
I just bought two sensa trac shocks for the front because the current ones are toasted ( teins on stock struts). I'm going to be replacing them in 2 days and I was wondering if anyone has a picture on how the shock is supposed to be loaded? meaning which washer goes first and last and the which way? I know its a dumb question but when I did my shocks in the summer i think i loaded it up the wrong way.

Thank you in advance

A better question: WHY, if you blew you stock shocks with lowering springs, are you replacing them with an OE equivalent?

agree...to an extent. brand new anything are better that 100k blown stocks. teins dont drop more than an inch and a half or so dont they? but yeah for the price of sensatracs should ve went better. should get some time out of em at least. if there is a brightside i guess that could be it. maybe. possibly. kind of. ok not so much.

I think I put the top thick black washer backwards but im not sure. It was fine for a while and then the shocks blew.

you talking about the bushing? the rubber? that wont cause a blown strut, might not seat right but thats about it. you're stocks were probably on their last leg and then blew out from the drop.

Yeah. Im gonna replace them tomoro. So if i were to accidently put a washer backwards or something, would my shocks make alot of noise? The current ones are toasted and make ALOT of noise going over bumps.
