I am trying to work with RAW files on photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 2 but both are rejecting the RAW files. I get the message "invalid file type", "not supported or damaged"!

The file type is Photoshop.CameraRawFileCanon2.9.

try downloading the raw plugins from adobe

I think you have to download Adobe Camera Raw, plus any updates for that too.

Picked up a Sigma 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS for dirt cheap and sold my 28-135mm Canon IS lens for a bit less - $50 out of pocket but really happy with results. I'm keeping this for a beat-around lens for sure.

Still looking to get a Canon 18-55 f2.8 IS or "L" type equivent. I was really amazed at the sharpness I got from using the rented 16-35mm f2.8 "L" lens. Also, the low light performance with a f2.8!

just google daily deal digital review... i've read about other sites like these where if you dont buy a lot of accessories then all of the sudden your product its on backorder and then they cancel your order. i wouldnt risk it unless you want a lot of other stuff from them too
