I can't wait to see it either! You may not be getting vibrations now from the balance shaft removal, but you aren't hitting boost either right? Just riding in vacuum until you are tuned correct? Thus you probably won't feel the real effects of the removed balance shaft until you are properly tuned and rippin hard. That's what my thoughts would be.

Re: Erik123456789's Official SOHC Turbo Build!!!

so today my check engine light went on, darn. and I used the paper clip method (im on obd1 by the way) and it gave off FOUR half-second flashes. I searched on google and i THINK its the crank positioning sensor according to this list http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/showthread.php?t=67886, can someone who has used this method before confirm this? my first time checking codes this way thanks in advance

LOL. I was gonna suggest you checking wiring from oil pump to ecu. I don't know how many times I've done something silly like that. It always takes me a bit to consider that something failing after doing work in an area that I was just in is not a coincidence.

You will probably not notice a difference under boost with the KS kit. If you were going to feel a vibration, you would feel it under any load at higher rpm's. The rate of engine acceleration will not significantly add to the forces that cause the vibration in the first place.

BTW, good work so far. I especially liked the chalk art.

So I went back for a re-tune since my old turbo crapped out on me and ended up buying a nicer one at a good price. This time I got some nicer numbers with a bit less boost.

The car made 322.41whp and 302.77ft-lbs of torque at 14.35psi and 91 octane!!!! Ill post a dyno sheet in a bit cus I still gotta go scan it haha.
