Need Help Deciding Tires

I know. Im just indecisive, is all. My current ones have plenty of meat left, theyre just noisy as all hell.

I've heard good things about Continental ExtremeContact DWS (Dry, Wet, Snow) which is what you're looking for. They have an 8.73 avg rating on TireRack. It's also considered a "performance" tire so it could stand a bit of spirited driving too. They have a 540 tread rating which is pretty good...

They are non-directional and I have them on front only. So far I still have more than 3/4 thread of left.

what about the good year eagle GT .... i have them on my winter wheels... and they have a hi tread wear... they are 76 per tire and held up to a year of my abuse.

Ordered Continental ExtremeContact DWS about 2 weeks ago from Treadepot.com 225/50/r17 for 126.00 each. They have a $60 rebate right now on Continental and free gps with a purchase of 499 or more. Probably basic gps fuctions, but still. The best quality tire for the price IMO.

Corner great, no hard road noise.

Before i got down to the Harmony and P4, i had also looked at the Bridgestone Traction TA/T, the Potenza, General Altimax HP/RT, the Turanza and the ComforTred.

Heard good reviews here on the ComforTred, bad elsewhere.
I know someone who swears by Potenzas, but i believe theyre a directional.
General's are good tires, but reviews werent good and they were also directional.
The Traction looked like a good tire and i was about ready to call for pricing but i looked into it more and found alot of people complaining about road noise.

If i had to sacrifice one thing for another it'd probably be noise. Anything quieter than my current ones, lol.

I recently purchased the General Altimax HP 195/65/15 for my accord . These are directional tires. They have 440 thread wear which is very good. I personally like them they handle great in the rain and have good grip. Even tho Ive had them for about 1300 miles i don't think they're noisy. They seem just fine i read the reviews on tire rack and the people who said they're noisy had put about 15k on them already so i cant say much about that. If you rotate them every 5k and put normal wear on them i think they'll last a very long time. Only thing i don't like about them which might break the deal for you is the side wall seems seems a bit soft. For my driving style they fit me just fine but like you said for some spirited driving they might not be the tire for you. I live in Florida so i cant comment on snow. For the price i paid for these im very pleased.

Also i bought some Michelin Primacy MXV4 for my wife's Camry 215/55/17. Drove the car a few times since we put them. They ride real nice and they're far far from noisy. BUT i paid nearly double for those then my generals at 140 a piece on tire rack. I just wanted a safe tire that will last a long time o yea and to shut her up cuz she was getting on my nerves. We replaced a set of Falken Ziex by far one of the worst tires Ive seen. They lasted 10k count it 10k!! and by the time we took em off they were like humming birds, had my steering wheel vibrating it was a mess. They were 320 thread wear i believe. Anyway sometimes its best to pay a lil more but get a better product that will outlast the cheaper product so keep that in mind.

Well, being in Missouri, our winters can get pretty nasty. Nothing like the NE or Minnesota, but nonetheless, so almost any All-Season tire i get will need to be good dry but also good in the snow.

I dont mind paying $100+/- each but ive seen some go for 120, 130, 140 and thats just too much for me. Im gonna do some more digging around on the Continental DWS and if i dont find any bad reviews, i may go with them.
