Alright, so I've decided to get a CAI for better throttle response for the car and a better tone for the car.
I was searching for AEM V2 intakes, but damn 320+ for a pipe + filter is not worth it. People say it's basically paying for the name of the Intake.
I found some eBay intake w/ C.A.R.B legal stickers on it for $55. I was just planning to get the pipe + a new K&N filter.
Or should I just skip all that and just keep my stock resonator box and switch out my filter for a K&N. I don't know if it will help throttle response, but I'm pretty sure it's alot better than my stock filter at the moment.
So question for you guys out there, is there any difference between the AEM vs Ebay that actually went to eBay to AEM or Injen?
Anything different, or does it feel exactly the same as another?
People say it's just a pipe that are bend in different angels, it's the filter that really matters.
For performance wise, i'm pretty sure the performance won't even change for our F23A engines.
AEM V2 has a deeper tone compared to the eBay?
I'm pretty sure i'm trying to avoid spending $300+ for an intake unless someone here sells me one for cheap, so i'm stuck with a eBay or my OEM and swapping out the filters.
EDIT: Oh and this is for a 4 cyl F23A1
EDIT AGAIN: I chose the DIY cold air intake. Sounds way better than what I expected, cheaper than the other 2 choices aswell. Only took 1 hr 30 min by myself. If someone ask the question I did, I'd say go with the DIY, you'll not be disappointed.
