The DIY is great, however the Coupe's are a lot more of a pain in the *** with the way the rear pillars are. They look like a bent letter U

The leather panel is like any other fabric panel, gos panel then foam peice then upholstry.

You have to look closely for the medal tabs.
It was really plain as day for me. Unless you have a 98-00 coupe which may be different that the 01 -02 door panels.

I just took off my door, I can't see any tabs. I have an 02. Do you know that a fabric door panel is the same for sure? I am either really dumb or something is different. I even pulled up the edges (I have suede over my stock fabric) and cannot see a seam there. It's all just one piece of vinyl that covers the whole upper part of the door, unless, again I am really dumb.

Cloth is definitely different. Looked on Ebay, I can see the metal clips you are talking about, mine don't have them. Sucks because I sliced my door a tiny bit and that would have prevented that. Now I at least know to get leather door panels if I want to ever fix that, or before I redo my interior again since I probably will accidentally mess up again lol. I wish I knew that a few years ago, I would have been able to use a much larger variety of fabric.

O that sucks that the door panels are different, sorry man :(

I wanted to use a different pattern. but the problem was I couldn't find a good heavy duty thick fabric that was in any type of pattern that would have looked nice.

I just did it to find the magic clips that don't exist on my door. Took me like 3 min lol.

I never would have thought Honda would have 2 different style door panels, seems like a waste of money
