welp i went to the machine shop today.. got my quote for the work to be done.. $492.87

which will include..
-valve removal
-5 angle valve job
-milling the head
-valve install
-honing
-resurface of block deck
-micro-polish for the crank
-hot tanking the head n block

but i still have to go somewhere else to get the head and the intake manifold port matched. they dont do that at the shop i went to.

i also was gonna have my crank lightened but that was 700 alone.. he told me he doesnt like doing it so he recommended i try somewhere else for that to maybe save some money

i was gonna take it in tomorrow or on monday.. but i dropped my iphone and shattered the screen. so i will now be using "swap money" to replace this damn phone. super pissed.

Man that sucks. Hate it when you have to use car money for other things. There's a guy selling an iphone 4 on here. Don't know if it's still for sale.

Yeah I got it. You weren't kidding when you said they were heavy as h*ll. Gonna clean them up Saturday and repaint them.

welp good thing this build is some what getting close to being done.. cause my f23 had a heart attack last night on the freeway while i was headed to my slam piece's house..

all the coolant leaked out due to a loose clamp.. temp gauge shot all the way past the red line.. and i had very low oil.. it took 3 quarts to get it back to normal level. it was running very rough on my way back home.. and was idling like i had some big *** cams or something in there and spitting out hella white smoke. it was also having trouble starting up.

today it ran cool on the way to work.. and even better coming back home.. but i know for sure something is damaged internally. but this just looks like i found my next build.. g23 stroker non-v turbo.. since i would already have to tear it down and build it back up to have a motor on back up incase the h goes boom.

I also wanted to do a G23/G22 Vtec. Got halfway there, but ended up scrapping it and going full h22. Probably because it was my first build and a lot of mistakes were made, but when I get another accord or something I'm definitely gonna go back and finish that G23 properly.

Nope not yet, but I'll make one pretty soon since I got a lot of time on my hands now. No more girlfriend to spend money or time on, so the next love of my life gets all that. Once I get a camera I'll start taking pictures. Currently in the process of installing the Skunk2 IM and yeah doing the 5 speed swap too. Doing it all at once.
