Camber help plz :(

So I am also having a problem with this. I went to a shop to get my car aligned after the whole drop and swap and new tires. And the guy told me he couldnt align it at all because i need a camber kit. Is this true and if so would I need it for the front and back ?? Thanks for the help guys.

Go find a shop lowered friendly.

My car is way lower than my sisters and they told her she needed a camber kit.
I went to a local shop that was able to align my car without camber kits.

They can adjust your toes, but if they say they adjust your camber, they are bull****ting. Unless they cut your car to make room to adjust the control arms, there's no way you will be able to adjust the camber.

Just have them zero out your toes and it will be fine unless you are crazy low.

Thank you very much my friend. Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I thought something was up when they said they could not align it. I dont think my camber is too bad, at least it doesnt look like it. I just want the alignment for reassurance that my tires will last as long as they are supposed to. thanks for the info rep for you

I remember when I first slammed my car without an alignment, my tires only lasted about 4000 miles when i had my stock alloys. Right after i had my new wheel setup on, I got my car aligned the next day.

I'm at -2.5 camber, and might be getting some for the rears soon.

The front camber wear isn't as bad as the rears.

There is still camber wear, just not as much.

The shop will tell you your camber and toe how they sit and when they finish it will show their current sitting aswell.

My rears were -2.5 and if I can remember correctly, my fronts were -1.2 or -1.5

Hey guys! okay so since were on this topic, i wanna lower my car on Tein S lowering springs. before anyone says anything about nahh don't waste your money on those and get Coil's. i don't have that kinda money and i don't have the need to be slammed, I'm just looking to get rid of the UGLY *** wheel gap. So my question is Do i or DO i NOT need a camber kit if I'm just getting lowering springs? thanks

Just springs, no dont waste your money on camber kits, get your toes adjusted and you should be fine. Just hoping you arent lowering it on stock shocks.

It's true that the fronts don't camber as much as the rear.

I'm at 23" in the front and 23.5" in the rear and my front camber is about -3.5, but my rears are about -4. Camber wear isn't too bad at all. I tend to drive conservatively and hardly ever take hard turns so just as long as you keep your spirited driving to a minimum, camber and tire wear, in general, shouldn't be much of an issue.
