Re: Going for a re-tune....
Working through setting a date right now, sent them dates that don't work, b/c the first one they gave I am out of town... lol go figure.
Aukoutmos -- Videos will be automatic. That's a given, and will post them up after.
AFAccord -- What prevented me from high numbers the first time was a few things. First right off the bat was mis-fires. Which is the reason I got the MSD. Second time around we hit 333whp, which was a good number, however I wanted to switch to E85 to get some better tuneability and numbers, in doing so came this awesome (saying that sarcastically) en devour of removing/reinstalling the head too many times to count, the timing issue and everything.
I know that if the rings/pistons havent been dealt with that will be the first thing that goes. Next is the fuel and spark that can easily get blown out without the help of tight gapping or addditional load for a stronger spark to prevent the blow out/misfiring issue.
The pump gas is a major thing as you can hit that 400whp goal, but even with a good tuner, there are problems with timing with pump gas versus e85. that is one of the main reason, much easier and safer to tune with e85 than pump gas and push the car further without fear of crossing that thin line into something breaking.
Does that help at all?
