Re: *gold4door02* my work in progress

the gauges, only took about 3 hours to remove that blue filter, but that was with me taking a few breaks haha. And the shifter is a custom piece i made with 3mm leds, a strip of pc board, resistors, and a lot of soldering.

I had the link to a DIY in my favorites in firefox I used as a guide for the shifter, but my computer crashed and idk if i can find it again. PM me if you really want to do it, and I'll try to find it. and if i can't i can still talk you through it, it's not that hard, just time consuming.
And I say PM me because there's a chance once this thread falls back out of the homepage i won't look at it again, haha.

Hahahaa ok thanks a lot man. . .I will PM you when I set some time aside to work on it.

Didn't think people were still doing that whole thing with the video game console in their cars.

If you get battles, I think you should consider getting them powdercoated to flow beter with the naples gold.

The PS2 was started in there for my 4 yr old daughter but ive taken a few turns. . .Also I couldnt resist hooking it up as the box that runs my dvd player has all kindsa capabilities and all I had to do was run the rca's. . . As for the battles ive never seen them powdercoated but I wont rule it out. .

question. those 4-5 lug adapters. do they cause you any problems? i remember a while back people were telling me not to get those because they would mess up.

I have had them on a few months and havent had any issues whatsoever. . .I ordered them through ADAPTEC MOTORSPORTS and dealt w/Lenny Jr. the owner of the company who designed the one-piece custom adapter. . .He makes adapters for drift cars and many other vehicles and makes a quality product. . I would never trust one of the adapters off from eBay but after my dealings w/Lenny I am confident there wont be any issues w/them

Looks very clean but not a fan of those rims

Thanks! I take a lot of time in trying to keep it clean. . .I always wanted chrome rims and loved this set when I bought them a while ago but now that I have been on this forum for a while and have seen some other setups Ive been on the lookout for some battles or possibly some other concave style rims. . .If any1 has any suggestions please post pics of any wheels that might look nice as im still undecided.

Just a tip, the button to the right of the "Quote" button, with the quotation marks and plus sign, that's the "multi-quote" button. Click it on posts that you want to quote all at once, then on the last one just click the regular "Quote" button and all quotes will be in the same post. Saves space.

My EX-L V6 didn't have that color steering wheel but it has the same interior scheme. My steering wheel was the darker brown color found on the bottom of your door panels.
I realized when I was in my car earlier that it must have been my camera making the steering wheel look lighter. . Mine is actually the darker one like eveyone elses!! Hahaaa!

You seem to know what your doing with the car, at least you researched the adaptors.

There are pics of various wheel setup's all over the site, you would have to browse the Member Rides section or the Wheel Fitment thread.
