alright. we will probably take the mid muffler out. he just wants it a little louder so he can drive it better. haha he pretty much stalls the thing every time bc you cant hear the thing.

It's gonna sound like shit as there's only 1 mid-muffler on the F23 exhaust.

You're better off switching the muffler to a Magnaflow or something.

I took my muffler off. Sounds great. YouTube 98 accord blast pipe.
. sounds pretty good, a little loud for what i would need so i think just taking the resenator off should sound somewhat louder than stock but quiter than yours. which is pretty much all i wanted

trust me its not that loud lol. its more of a deep tone. removing the resonator with just a stock muffler will be raspy

There is no really easy option as far as what your dad wants. Unbolting the muffler is going to make it sound nasty and raspy, and removing only the mid muffler is going to require cutting and welding, which by the sound of things you guys don't want to do. If your looking for something to just bolt right on and be done with go on Youtube and fine a full cat-back system that you think sounds the best and get it.

As for the stalling, unless your tach doesn't work, you could always just watch the rpms when driving to prevent from stalling. It isn't necessary to listen to the exhaust.
