@scapnav6, thanks. I don't want to tuck rim so I'll just adjust accordingly so it sits a bit above the rim. Almost full tyre tuck.

@darius, yeah I think 215/40 is manageable as long as I don't get rubbing issues.

@derek, I'll see how the fitment is, when the time comes, but I think I'll buy a camber kit anyway . It'll be nice to know that I can adjust it to my likings if need be.

CleanWhiteHonda is running some similar specs, especially the rear. Just about 1.5mm difference.

Actually his front fitment would be identical with the 10mm spacers but the rear fitment would be 14.7mm (bit more than half an inch) wider since he's running 18x10 +25 with a 10mm spacer. Am I correct with my calculations?

Actually, x9.5 +17 and x10 +25 is only a 1.7mm difference, poke-wise.

It's a 1/2" difference in total width but that's divided into 1/4" to the inside (towards the coilover) and 1/4" to the outside (towards the fender). Now, 1/4" = about 6.3mm and you subtract that from the 8mm difference in offset, which comes out to be around 1.7mm difference between the two specs.

So a simple example, going from 18x9 to 18x10 will poke 1/2" more and extend 1/2" more toward the inside as well.

Might be a bit confusing but that's the best way that I can explain it.

I want to know if this set up would fit on a coupe the lip is 3 inches also I want to see if anyone has anything similar and what the ride quality would be. I want some pointers on ride quality. I have function and form type 1s if that helps any input would be appreciated.

hey i just got some 2012 mazdaspeed3 wheels, picked up tires to, rims are 18x8.5 +52 offset, tires are 215(used to have 225)/45
mounted them and there's no rub at all(at stock height with no fender wells lol) still need 2 tires, paint the rims, probably should roll the fenders, rear fits nice but spacers and coilovers would make it sweet

With that high of an offset on 8.5, and if you're going to lower your car, I assume they'll be kind of close to the coilover body. No worries though, put on some 10-15mm spacers and you'll be good to go.

yeah i had a feeling something wouldnt wanna fit at some point, not going really stance, no tire stretch, but im trying to go fitted/flush
