Hard Jolt When Pressing on Gas after rolling stop

No CEL, thankfully. I'll check the solenoid with my mechanic at my next check up in a couple weeks. I'll ride it out for now and see it goes, thankfully I now live much closer to work (3.7km) so I won't be putting my strain on the car. I'll likely do the solenoid venture and see how things go...

Hard Jolt When Pressing on Gas after rolling stop

How long has it been doing it that? How long you think I could keep driving with this issue myself?

Hard Jolt When Pressing on Gas after rolling stop

Not sure about the kind of fluid, but its literally been just a couple days since. The car does feel a bit more responsive, like a lower tone sound. Total mileage on the car is 310,000km. I got it in 2010 with only 97k on it and in 5 years I've gave it a beating with over 210,000km lol. I'd...

Hard Jolt When Pressing on Gas after rolling stop

I've got a 1999, automatic, 2 door coupe, 4 cylinder EX model. Here's whats happening: I've noticed whenever I come to a near complete stop (basically a rolling stop) and press on the gas, the car will make a hard jolt/thud/thump and kick back quite hard, almost like metal slamming on metal...

Yes, Ontario, Canada. Where can I get one for $100? Is this direct fit?

Update: P0420 ---- first time i have ever heard of this

My 1999 Honda EX Coupe is in need of a new Cat Converter. I've got 198k on the car and was told by my mechanic a new cat converter from Honda could go for 1k and OEM for around $300. Do these prices sound reasonable? I may have to go in for an emissions test to renew my license plates...

    DIY Sound deadening?

Holy moly. How long does it take to strip apart the interior like that and install dynamat? Is it all that work worth it? I mean, is there a significant change in a quiet ride when installing dynamat on the floor like that?

    the deal with sound deadeners

well since you all know what kind of car I drive, haha, does dynamat/fatmat stuff actually make the car quieter inside when driving? id like to be able to focus more on music without interfering sound, or have a quiet conversation in the car. what are the best places to put in the sound...

    changing power door lock switch.

Crap! My driver lock just crapped out on me, completely! I usually had issues unlocking the doors with my remote, had to press like 4 times in a quick action, although locking worked fine. I had a new stereo installed the other day, came back and found the door lock to not work. Both unlocked...

Cold Air Intake - Which One??

Are K&Ns illegal? I'm in Canada atm, so maybe we have different laws. Does fuel consumption change noticeably? I currently get anywhere from 450-600km/tank. (depending on driving habits and highways). And what kind of performance does it really give? Ive heard some people say anywhere from...

Cold Air Intake - Which One??

Before I say anything, I'm a noob. So I've been told by a lot of people cold air intakes, or specifically K&N air filters are awesome. Apparently they add a bit of extra horsepower and reduce fuel consumption. I've got a 1999 Honda Accord EX 2 Door Coupe, 4 Cylinder. I don't really have a...

    Photoshoot Tips for your car...
