    Accord v6 hot soak fix

I don't know that warmer weather makes a difference, as I live in Las Vegas. No fuel/winterizing for me and my baby. Sold my baby today, tears of joy though I'll be back in a year with another 6GA!!!

    Brushed aluminum vinyl wrap!!!!

I completely agree with you....had i not done this in the break room at work on a saturday I would have used the heat gun...i was just excited to get an idea of how it would look. I have already removed it, unfortunately i haven't seen my heat gun in a few months, if i don't find it on my day...

    Brushed aluminum vinyl wrap!!!!

My wood grain pieces were smooth, I imagine if it's a deep scratch it will show through. Just behind the parking brake lever has a crack and it shows through pretty good but given the location of it....idgaf!!! Post more pics as I continue. Diver and passenger window switches will be done...

    Brushed aluminum vinyl wrap!!!!

Center DONE!!! Installed, I'm going to redo it...was so excited I had to do a test run! My lines will run left to right, I just like that look more than the front to back grain...I laid the pieces out with te grain front to back and it appears that you would end up with more leftovers if...

    Brushed aluminum vinyl wrap!!!!

Thanks it's very easy. Determining exactly where to trim the pieces is going to be the hardest part. I re-wrapped the cupholder cover at work already, it's so much better. Pretty good stuff to work with. Seems like it will last a while. Especially on the less touched areas! I might do a...

    Brushed aluminum vinyl wrap!!!!

Quick post since I have to go to work in 20 minutes! Decided wood grain wasn't for me, wanted a slightly more refined look. Decided brushed aluminum was the way to go. Ordered some from eBay....bad idea. Ordered some more from amazon and it finally came in. This was a quick wrap job (took...

    Accord v6 hot soak fix

Alright so I tried the coolant temp sensor fix from YouTube..... If it worked you won't hear from me for another few hours as I'm going to make a stop before I go to the gym. If it didn't I'll have a response in the next 20-30 minutes as I'll have time while I wait for my car to "cool down"...

    Accord v6 hot soak fix

I thought I had the problem fixed. Took off my distributor, saw some oil in the cap...got almost two weeks of hiccup free starts...and then boom twice today it's done this heat soak sh*t. I have the coolant temp senseor in my garage somewhere just gotta find the box. Going to swap that out...

    NEWB in the 702!!!

Recently purchased my second favorite toy: 99 6GA EX Coupe :party36: It was sort of a bucket that looked like it was in great shape outside…but for $2,000 can you blame me? Bought the car starting/running (sort of) with as the previous owner described minor issues: these minor issues were...

    Accord v6 hot soak fix

I've recently become a 6GA owner and have been going through the same/similar issue...I consider myself pretty good with a wrench: following the advice of this forum (and a dozen Youtube videos) I have replaced/or had replaced by a local honda spe******t shop the: IAC (false sense of victory)...
