FS: FS: Work CR Kai 18x7.5

I am selling my bronze 18x7.5 +48 Work Emotion CR Kai wheels. They are in perfect condition with one exception. There is one scratch on one of the spokes that I will post a pic of when I get the chance. These come with 225/45/18 Falken Fk 452 tires. The tires all have about 45 to 50% tread...

    N/A Build Idea

Just get the mid grade gas thing out of your head. If you're gonna go through the trouble to build and tune a motor(these go hand in hand) you need to be running premium gas.

DIY oil catch can PCV system

Just talked to my tuner about the catch can he said this is the way they run all their race cars except with 2 filters and a bigger can with -10 lines. This setup is perfectly fine.

DIY oil catch can PCV system

Considering the fact that I am no longer using a PCV valve I do not understand the problem. I realize that the valve is operated on vacuum and its basically a controlled vacuum leak but it opens up to vent crank case gases when you are on the throttle. The reason it is being dumped into the...

DIY oil catch can PCV system

I think it was necessary but it was mostly a guess. Most setups I've seen run 2 -10 AN lines off the valve cover and I had -8's so I thought it would be better to use an extra one just to be safe.

DIY oil catch can PCV system

Disclaimer: Do not do this if you are not mechanically inclined or do not have patience. I am not responsible for anything that happens to your car. Expect to modify things and use some creativity when tackling something like this. As most of you know I just recently installed my turbo and...

    Turboaccord98's Turbo Build(Done! 8/28/11)

Yes it's an open dump tube, it sounds awesome. I don't have any videos yet I'm still working out some of the kinks with the new setup. I still need a real oil catch can because my dipstick was popping up every time I would boost. I still have to convert to the 2 wire IACV cause there's just a...

    Turboaccord98's Turbo Build(Done! 8/28/11)

Took 2 days to swap the motors and install the ARP head studs and new timing belt and water pump.

    Turboaccord98's Turbo Build(Done! 8/28/11)

The total project was quite a bit since I bought pretty much everything brand new I still haven't added it all up yet though. I would say around $3k. I'm running 9 PSI and the ARP head studs are the only thing in the motor that isn't stock.

    Turboaccord98's Turbo Build(Done! 8/28/11)

Re: Turboaccord98's Turbo Build(update 5/10/11) The motor was $300 from the local wrecking yard. It supposedly had 97k miles on it. The reason I say this is because when I pulled the head off to install the ARP headstuds, the inside of it looked brand new. The oil that was in it when I bought...

    Boost friendly

I think you should just do the F23 if you're a college student. It's been done so you can use other peoples builds to learn from. If you're tight on money then just keep saving it doesn't matter if it takes a while just pick something and stick to it. Good luck.

    Turbokits.com kit

I know I'm a little late on this one but please listen to everything akoutmos is saying. We both know because we own this kit. DO NOT BUY IT! You say you want to buy the kit and then replace everything. Well that's exactly what I'm doing now and I'm basically only using the BOV, intercooler and...

VSS troubles after my turbo build

Check the plug that is on the vss and all of the wires, one may have been damaged while doing the swap. Also, did you do a 5 speed swap or was it a 5 speed from the factory?

    Turboaccord98's Turbo Build(Done! 8/28/11)

Re: Turboaccord98's Turbo Build(update 5/10/11) No it won't be a full track car. I just treat it like one because some day it will be. I just need to graduate from college and get a good job first.

    What should I do?

If you don't have enough money to do a 6 speed swap then you definitely do not have enough money to make your car fast. Do some research and don't buy anything. Save your money. If you want to make the accord fast you need a six speed and either a supercharger or turbo. Look to spend an...

    wings and spoilers

That J's wing is f***ing sweet looking on that euro R. I haven't seen your car but unless you need downforce in the rear, I don't think you should get any wing.

    Moroso battery killswitch wiring

I just found another thread on honda-tech about this and they said the same thing as the moroso diagram but rather than the wire going to the starter, it goes to the dist. block where the stock pos. cable goes. This is starting to make sense I just dont like the idea of the alternator wire being...

    Moroso battery killswitch wiring

I just got my killswitch, wiring kit and battery box and I'm trying to figure out how to wire this ish. There are so many different ways to do this and I've searched on Honda-tech and all kinds of other forums but cannot get a straight answer. From what I've read I know the power wire has to be...
