    you could also remove the belts to see if the noise goes away and if it does then its an accessory like a/c or alternator bearing.

    Well my throttle cable adapter plate I made houses both throttle and cruise control cables and what I will do is get a cable connector to join the cruise control cable to the throttle cable like a aftermarket cruise control setup will take all of ten minutes.

    ^^^^ He's right the JDM ecu's do not monitor the rear o2 sensor so in Cali it wont pass emissions inspection but here in lower Virginia I don't have that problem so I fly a jdm pcf-901 for an automatic perfectly.

    Well the first glitch found today after running it for a while is that the cooling fans are not coming on even with the A/C on so applied power to the fans connectors and they run so next I crossed the fan switch with a paper clip and nothing so I need to check the relay and any fuses related...

    yeah I couldn't believe how well its doing and I got lucky so far the engine seems really clean inside & out! some new pics got the header wrapped and installed just waiting on my test pipe and I wont have to worry about the rear O2 sensor cause the jdm ecu doesn't use it lol.

    yeah im using a pcf-901 jdm obd2 ecm which is almost exact drop in for a 2001 obd2 usa ecm with no immobilizer but my car is an automatic so its a perfect fit. Ran it a little more today just idling and a few revs still no check engine light which makes me so happy!

    all of the wires have been removed from jdm harness whole and repined into the accord harness and what wires needed to be patched into were soldered and heat shrinked. mine idles spot on perfect but haven't driven it yet so don't know if Vtec works yet but im sure it will cause this is what I do...

    In Virginia the fine for a buisness if caught gutting your catalytic convertor is anywhere from $25,000 to $250,000. Have the state poster up in the shop (OSHA crap) but never seen it inforced before lol.

    stay with 5w20 and you can get it in high milage version would help. There is a TSB from Honda saying that in the 90's the civics and accords had a problematic issue when using heavier weight oils that would hold the valves open for milliseconds longer then usual and after 60k miles or so found...

    Also its best to get a white paint touch up paint stick to mark the crank and cam gears to the timing belt with - then transfer marks to new belt and reinstall and double check timing marks and your good to go.

    truthfully 150 psi is really the bare minimum for passing a compression test. Usually your 180psi and above for 4cyl vtec engines.
