Re: Russianred's Turbo Build Thread!

Thanks for the clarification man!

If it's only a vacuum gauge, then can someone be sitting in my car looking in the gauge while i adjust the BOV and do it that way, or vice versa? To make sure what vacuum the car is in.. using the boost gauge.

Thanks for the support Abdi! Much appreciated. I do strongly believe that the money is still stopping you because think about it wife = money, therefore.. well you can conclude yourself :hihi:

Re: Russianred's Turbo Build Thread!

Raced my car at the track this weekend. I had a small problem with the spark plug wires. One of the wires was compressed down by the charge piping, where the piping rubbed through the insulation on the wire, and the spark was arcing to the intake pipe not the spark plug. This caused some misfire. I'll probably need to get new wires eventually, but I was happy to have figured out the simple problem :).

Congrats on getting to run your car and glad it'll be an easy fix! Have any numbers from your run(s)?

15.5 was best quarter. 0.580 was best reaction time. I can post slip later. My second time ever running at the track, I was satisfied even though I bogged on some launches and 1st gear kept slipping out to neutral on launch. It was a great time.
