also, no, the type r lip does not mount to the bottom of the bumper. i remember when that dude did that on v6p, and no, it doesnt mount that way. it just looks stupid like that.

you need to cut slits in that area that you circled so that it will fit in. on the 01-02 bumpers on the bottom of the bumper, there are little slit things. either you can cut off that and fit the mugen lip right in, or modify the mugen lip and cut the wholes at where the slits are to make it fit.
