Re: *UPDATE 10/8/12* FINISHED Retrofit

Blacked out shrouds and reflectors FTMFW!

Nice set you got there man. Quality work

Thanks I really appreciate it! :) It was my first time doing retrofits (not including the test headlight). It wasn't the best but it turned out better than I expected.

Re: Retrofit Process

why not use worthwhile projectors if youre going through all the hassle already?

i know they were free, and i know you know they're not good...the price is low, but so is the value. when you end up upgrading them (you will), you'll have to do all the work again

could not have said it any better

there are a lot of CRAPPY projectors out there

I would never go through this much trouble just to get mediocre results

but anywho interested in the final output

Retrofit is completed and was updated in first page.

they turned out great, how long did it take you?

Well worked on it for two days but i wasn't consistent with it, so I would have to sum it up about a total of 6-7 hours?

Thanks though!

Looks pretty good man, clean work! For what those projectors offer, you've made the most of them. Light pattern doesn't look as bad as I thought it might.

You did nice work man! Good job!
Who cares if there not the best projectors, you got practice and they came out fresh.. Now you know how to do it and the next set will be a walk in the park!!:badger:

Thanks man! Even though it takes time cutting and fitting the projectors in it was deff worth it and fun! But do I see a retrofit project going on for your car in the future? It'll set her off real nice :)

Looks good.

In for some night shot pics outside.

Very nice!!!

Thanks, appreciate it! I'll post up some pics outside when it's not too cold.
