sigh. It's an alloy, which by definition is a mixture of metals, but is mostly aluminum.

If the shop is asking this, then I'd take them somewhere else.

dont know if you signed a contract or not...but...if they dont know how to paint something as simple (and common) as regular *** stock honda rims, i'd take cash for the website work.

think about it.

it would be like asking those guys how to embed a flash header while you're designing their website.

So you make them a website and they're going to paint your wheels with paint probably equivalent to that of a rattle can? That's what it sounds like and it doesn't sound fair at all.

Alloy wheels are typically made out of aluminum or magnesium or a mixture. Hope this helps..

yes, the guy was only asking so he could make the paint as durable as possible and not flake off or anything

we get that...we got that from the first post.

what we dont understand is why a wheel shop is asking the customer what his wheels are made of.

imagine a doctor asking you where to make a cut on a surgery table, just before he gives you the gas to put you under. incompetence much?

if a damn wheel shop doesn't know, what are the chances someone on here knows? if it mattered, wouldn't the answer be all over google? or at least, people asking this question on other forums?

Which is why I said, if they are asking you this question, I'd take them somewhere else.
