Damn David haven't seen you on here in a long time....yessir I luv teh shifting!

Just got the key chipped to the manual ecu, so i'm ridin full manual now. Only odd thing is the high idle.....it's like 1500rpms-1750rpms. And the wierd noise when starting/cranking. It almost sounds electric like a whirr rather than the standard crank. Could that be the fact that the Fidanze takes less effort to turn so i'm just hearing the starter?

That sounds right to me. Yeah dude I've been busy as hell this summer. And really just not posting more just reading what people post.

I think the whirr is normal do to the fidanza. As to the higher idle at start up I don't think thats normal. Not sure why it would be doing that though.

I know.....I just stumbled across a donor car in a pick you own parts type of junkyard that i got a good deal on parts. Dude told me " everything i need, soup to nuts $140." So i jumped on that deal.....

The car felt like $hit cause if the auto and now it's much quieter and it does feel like a totally new car.....
