^Thanks Johnson!

@ Matt - Chrome trim was a no go when I asked, sorry buddy. I'll see about the cowl. The" parts car" turns out to be a 6GA that is still driven, so it doesn't just sit. He only yakes small stuff off of it.

It's all good man. I've got most everything I need now to start my rebuild!! I am excited. Only a little bit of it is pictured in my sig.

If worse comes to worse I'll find a way to repair the window cowl.

Post a picture of Mikey so we can put a face to username.

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. I would like to be getting more photos and updating more, but between the pure amount of work, documenting, and time we have to get it all done, I can only update via my phone a couple times a day even though I brought my laptop. The days go so fast, I have lost track of time/date, lol. All the days run together...get up, work, go to bed. This...is intense. :lawl:

Things done today:
shifter mounted
clutch/brake pedals mounted
clutch master cylinder/clutch fluid reservoir mounted
wiring for reverse lights/lockout and speed sensor done
motor and trans mated up
intermediate shaft connected

Matt, I have a picture of Chris in the bay that you can have instead, lol. And I thought I posted a pic on her somewhere. Anyway, maybe tomorrow, before I leave, the 3 of us can do a group shot or something. Today wad long. All the interior pieces were trouble and rich still has work to do on the pedals. I envy that man, lol. Chris, too. His car is gonna be SWEET when its done. :)

Re: 6 gears > 4 [6spd + 3.2 swap]

Mikey is leaving today, he will be missed. *sniff. Lol. Thanks for all your help buddy!

First thing today, figure out what we need to do with the motor mounts (you either have to lower the rear mount by 1/2" or put spacers in the subframe to lower it 3/4", so the hood clears - because the J32 is a little taller), then drop in the new trans/motor and hook up all the harnesses/plugs.

Pedals need finished up, pin needs made for one of the shifter cables to attach to the shifter, shfter cables need attached to tranny, axles need put back in, headers/downpipe need reattached, radiator needs put back in, interior console needs reassembled, and motor, tranny need new fluids.

Hopefully we can finish everything by 4pm tomorrow, at the latest...

The bolts Innovative ships with their mounts are too short for this car, so we had to buy longer bolts. We found ours at Ace Hardware. Innovative bolt is on right, which is roughly 7/8" shorter than the Ace bolt on left. Only difference is the threading, but both work. If you use these mounts, just make sure you get bolts that are rated the same.

Motor is in, shifter, shifter cables, and clutch pedal are fully functional. Most plugs and connections are done. J30 ecu is being swapped for TL-S ecu, that's almost done. Hood clears the motor thanks to these spacers, which were used to drop the subframe. They are roughly .6" thick.

Hope to be done tomorrow...because i'm sore as hell. Lol

quite your complaining! I had it done in 1 day :)
Did you end up not cutting the mounts at all? Only spaced the sub-frame out?
