Bump for a clean headlight.

My bro has an extra from his TSX, I'm thinking about buying one off on craigslist and having them retro fitted also.

i bought a set of retros for my em1 from a guy who had customlightz do the retrofit. i called and had them confirm the work and they knew exactly. anyway...the work was not top notch. they leaked and the shroud actually fell off going down the road headed to import alliance 2 years ago. i ended up ripping the things apart and redoing the whole retro myself. which wasnt hard btw. the guy told me he paid 1100 for the setup through customlightz and i paid him 450. if i had to do it again i wouldnt have given over 250. just my 2 cents.

clean set though op. glws.

^ I bet the quality of customlightz's lights differs on an individual basis.. They can't mass produce retros of identical quality which are completely hand made.

GLWS on these nice lights.

Guys it's really not cool to be bashing this guy's thread. In the end if it sells, it sells. He chooses his price point and people will decide if they want it at what he chose. Back off unless you're making an offer.

Agree completely. Many accord owners will never understand what's involved in a quality retrofit, and will never be able to justify the high price tag. This is a great middle-tier retrofit, and while the price isn't super-attractive...it's still more than fair. The TYC lenses require disassembling a set of TYC headlights, and they usually aren't cheap new or used. If there aren't any leaks, and the work was done by Custom Lights (which if I'm not mistaken is the same company Rich @ HID Illusionz worked for & built up), then the labor on these was no less than $250. Combine those 2 costs with the projectors, shrouds, bulbs, and spare headlight housings...and the cost is more than fair. If you're too naive or cheap to understand that, then move on to the next thread. My $.02

i fully understand as i have done a few retros myself so far. im just posting to let people know. im not bashing the guy at all. but if i bought a good quality part from someone then i would want to tell people. same way with a bad part. call it what you will but im not against this guy selling his headlights. i also spoke first hand with BOTH guys from customlightz and that is a mesy situation there to begin with. i was even told to ship some things back in but upon reading reviews and speaking to several people i decided against it. maybe its under better management now i dont know. anyway. like i said above. TO THE OP. good luck with the sale.

like someone pointed out earlier. 50 posts to make a for sale thread. so. just sayin:ugh:

Sorry guys this is For Sale thread. I didn't make this thread to ask anyone's opinion. Sorry, i don't want to hurt anyones feeling. I recently sold my car. It wasn't daily driven car. This is almost band new set. I used it for less than year. Custom Lightz did really good job making this set. I'm really picky guy and I was 100% satisfied with job. Asking price is $700 (OBO). OBO stand for Or Best Offer so shoot me an offer!(that don't mean u can offer me $250).
