Just for perspective, I purchased my Type 2's for 755 shipped from Nastie Garage for my CD5. I pretty sure it's approximately the same price for the 6th gen.... I'll find out Monday. But, you're asking too much for something that's used. Thanks anyway bro



Anyway, I'm looking to see what are the physical differences between the 96/97 auto trans and my 6th gen auto. Yeah, they bolt up to the block, but I'm looking at other things, such as shift links, bolts, motor bracket, solenoids, etc... Rebuilding this tranny is my last option.

Type II's for the 6ga will generally run you more than 850. Nasohc (Ken) on here deals them for just about the best price you are going to find. Knighthawk only has a few miles on his so 750 is not a bad price...

That's what 5th gen type 2's generally run. But, it looks like they're going down in price. Weaksauce has both 5th and 6th gen for 850 shipped. $100 bucks off a used set doesn't justify it for me, especially in NY... where the roads are not great. Not like Florida or Cali where almost all the roads are great.
